You have recently completed your PADI Open Water Diver Course or you have dived for some time and know the urge to explore specific areas within diving. On the other hand, maybe you just want excitement by trying something new, maybe you want to try wreck diving. Whatever your reason may be, you will gain more Experience during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
Why take the PADI Advanced Diver Course?
After your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you will be left with the feeling of being a better diver. You will also know that you have developed your skills and be more qualified to different types of diving. Among other things, you will be qualified to dive to 30m (divers who are younger than 14 years is limited to 21m).
PADI Advanced Diver Course Training
You will plan the content of your five dive together with your PADI instructor. There are two dives anyone who takes PADI Advanced Open Water course must do Deep and Underwater Navigation. During your Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to handle the physiological effects and challenges associated with deeper diving. Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and help you to better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
The other three you select based on what skills you want to strengthen, or simply based on what you want to learn more about. When you select the three optional dives, you should also keep in mind that the dive you do during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course counts as first dive in the corresponding specialty.
